How to watch
Hover over an unfamiliar word
Hover over a word in the dual subtitles and the rest happens by itself:
- the video pauses,
- a pop-up dictionary shows the translation and what the word means in this scene,
- the word is saved to your Wordbook.
Rewind a line and pause
Missed a word? Press ← on the keyboard or the arrow to the left of the subtitle to jump back a line.

Quickly review your latest words
Click the IS icon in the browser bar to open the extension window: your latest and most frequent words, plus the settings.
No subtitles in your language?
InterSub can translate subtitles with AI on the fly and show the translation as the second line. If the platform's subtitles in your language follow the dub and don't match what is said, turn on forced AI translation in Settings. - ← / → rewind and fast-forward, Space pauses and plays
- = / − make the main subtitles bigger or smaller; add Shift for the second line
- ↑ / ↓ move subtitles up or down
