InterSub pop-up dictionary in the subtitles of a Udemy course, English to Spanish

Udemy dual subtitles and a subtitle translator for every course

Udemy courses in another language: dual subtitles and instant translations

Most Udemy courses are taught in English, and many of the best ones in Spanish, Portuguese or other languages. Udemy dual subtitles from InterSub put the instructor's words and their translation on screen together, so you learn the skill and the language in the same lesson. Hover any word for a pop-up dictionary, and it is saved for review. InterSub is a free extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox and works on YouTube, Netflix, Coursera, LinkedIn Learning and TED too.

How Udemy dual subtitles work

Dual subtitles in English and Spanish on a talk show video

Dual subtitles for every lecture

Watch a Udemy course with two subtitle lines: the language of the course and your native language, one above the other. You follow the instructor without rewinding, and the course language becomes familiar lecture by lecture.
Pop-up dictionary translating a word in video subtitles from English to Spanish

Pop-up dictionary on hover

Hover over any word in the Udemy subtitles. The video pauses, and a pop-up dictionary shows the meaning with a context translation of the words around it, so you see what a technical term means in this lecture.
InterSub Wordbook: words looked up this week with translations, context and source

A vocabulary builder from your courses

Every word you look up is saved to your Wordbook with the line it came from. Your courses turn into a vocabulary builder of the terms you actually need at work.
Practicing saved words in a Telegram chat on a phone

Practice words in Anki or our Telegram bot

To learn new words from your Wordbook, sync it with Anki on desktop or mobile, or train them in our Telegram bot: it explains each word, checks your own example sentences with an AI tutor and brings words back with spaced repetition. The words from your Udemy courses stay with you after the video ends.
