"Without Subtitles" Mode
Those who feel comfortable without reading all the subtitles or who want to challenge themselves, can try "show subtitles only on pause" mode: when everything is clear, subs don't distract you. But if you need help, hit pause and check subs out. Yes, this mode pairs perfectly with the Remote Control.

Remote control for watching on big screens
RC enhances the viewing experience on larger screens so that you wouldn't have to touch your computer at all looking up unfamiliar words in subs. It works in your phone's browser, allowing you to pause videos, view current subtitles, and receive translations of words in it. You can also rewind or fast-forward if you happen to miss something.

Personal profile with vocabulary, history and frequently checked words
In your personal profile you can see all the words you have ever checked along with their translations and context. Filters and searches help you to quickly find what you need. Separately, we'd like to highlight the ability to see words by how often they are checked - these are the words you should learn first.

Learn words in our apps or Telegram bots
There are several mobile apps and TG bots already connected to InterSub to help you memorize your saved words.

To connect an app, scan the QR code in your profile in Personal profile. If you use a different app, you can always export your words as an Excel file and upload them into it.

Subtitle Navigation
If you didn't manage to read the subtitle or move your cursor over a needed word, you can quickly return to it using the cursor buttons (⬅️ or ➡️) or the arrows to the right and left of the subtitle block.

Auto pause on cursor movement
To help you avoid missing a word or a subtitle, we made an auto-pause mode, which is activated in player full-screen mode after 5 seconds of mouse inactivity. Thereafter, any movement puts the video playback on pause. It is possible to unpause the video by clicking in the player area or by pressing the space bar.

Tip: How to watch videos better
Auto-pause may not be enough to keep up with fast video speech. Use the space bar to pause and review subtitles. Most platforms recognize the space bar as a play/pause command. If you missed anyway, use the cursor arrows (⬅️/ ➡️) or the right/left arrows near the subtitles to navigate.
